Our Beliefs

Global Cash Access, Inc. (GCA) is the leading provider of payment processing services to the global gaming industry. Since GCA depends on that industry, we benefit from and commit ourselves to supporting its sustainability, overall health, and good standing.

We firmly believe that casinos, and the industry as a whole, need to represent and promote responsible entertainment as well as develop and implement safeguards that make gaming both enjoyable and safe. At GCA, we’re proud that the products and services we provide contribute to a more controlled and worry-free gaming environment. Our cash access services allow for a safer environment and peace of mind by enabling patrons to carry less cash into and out of casinos. Also, our systems and databases help operators, regulators, and law-enforcement officials prevent fraud.

But that alone is not enough. Although industry research shows that gaming patrons are actually more financially responsible and sophisticated than the overall population, we recognize that a small percentage have problems with responsible gaming. And because our products and services are financial, we’re in an ideal position to help problem gamblers help themselves.

We see this important opportunity as a moral commitment to our industry and its customers. That’s why we launched our first responsible gaming initiative in 1999 and have been expanding and building upon it ever since. Being a truly global company, with operations in North America, Europe, Asia, and the Caribbean, we aspire to be an asset to casinos as they comply with local laws, customs, and culture in the prevention of problem gambling.

Our responsible gaming initiatives involve partnerships with leading advocacy groups around the world, as well as GCA-initiated programs that we’ve developed and implemented over the years. We’re especially proud of our responsible gaming programs, as they’ve proven to be very effective and, we believe, a leading model in the industry. Our unwavering commitment to this cause is constantly evolving, and we welcome any suggestions or input from our customers, responsible gaming advocates, regulators, and government officials alike.
